This eLearning module applies Virtual Reality (VR) technology to build an immersive, virtual learning environment for students to experience a day in a local crèche.
It is designed for the course "Parenting in Infancy and Toddlerhood: Theories and Practices", for educational purposes and non-commercial use.
This is the first of its kind in Hong Kong, providing students with a safe environment to gain first-person experience of caring and teaching groups of infants and toddlers in childcare settings.
Upon completion of this module, students will be able to (1) demonstrate a critical understanding and reflection of care routines and challenging behaviours of infants and toddlers in group-based childcare settings; (2) evaluate and redesign learning environments developmentally appropriate for infants and toddlers.
